Peng-Wei Chu, PhD
Principal Investigator Peng-Wei Chu (朱鵬維) received his PhD from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in 2017. After working in the Pathfinding team of TSMC as a Principal Engineer briefly for two years, he joined the Department of Engineering and System Science at National Tsing Hua University as an Assistant Professor in 2020. Peng-Wei's research mainly focused on the electrochemical behavior of metals and alloys from microstructural perspective, ranging from corrosion, oxidation, surface treatments, to battery electrodes. Peng-Wei also has expertise in a variety of materials characterization techniques, including, but not limited to, SEM/FIB, TEM, XRD, XPS, and Atom Probe Tomography (APT). |
